Superintendent's Message

August 1, 2022

Dear Students, Parents, and Community of Valley View Local Schools:

Welcome to the 2022 – 2023 school year! We are proud to be southwest Montgomery County’s site for outstanding academic and career technical education.  The staff and administration are committed to educating our students through updated technology, exciting hands-on-lessons, college preparatory academics, job placement experiences and student organizations.

Our 2022 Graduates are preparing for post-secondary education, are enrolled in the military, or already gainfully employed in living wage jobs. We are proud of their successes and look forward to seeing our Class of 2023 reach their goals as each graduates this upcoming school year.

We are in the process of building a spectacular K-12 building next to the high school and are hoping to be in the building for the 2024-2025 school year.

As Interim Superintendent, I am a proud resident of the Valley View Local School District, and I am excited to be a part of this great learning institution. I hope you will enjoy the product of the educational experiences that Valley View offers.

Our administrative team welcomes the 2022-2023 school year with excitement and optimism. We are committed to the educational growth of all students. Student performance and school safety will always be our top priority. We will also work with business and industry leaders, Civic and Community Organizations, post-secondary institutions, and the Ohio Department of Education to ensure student success as well.

Valley View Local Schools has an incredible tradition of educational excellence. We are excited about our Proud Past, but even more encouraged about our Promising Future! We welcome you to the 2022-2023 School Year! Go Spartans!

Superintendent Joe Scholler
